Comic Books:
What They Are:
Comic Books are picture books for older teenagers and up. Comic Books show pictures with little words. There are different types of comic books. They are books shortened and sometimes funny in an art form.
What I Think of Them: I like comic books. My favorite Comic Book is Jane Eyre. I also like Manga books. Comic Books are easier to read because they are easier to read because you read them like a regular book. Manga books are harder to read because they have to be read from back to front.
Fun Fact
The first comic book appeared in the United States in 1932, reprinting the earlier newspaper comic strips, which established many of the story-telling devices used in comics.

What is not good is the details. The details could be better.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes butt-kicking stories about vampires. I think many people will like this book. Mainly girls will read this book more than boys will. It has teen romance mixed in with action and a little mystery/adventure.

The Worst Christmas Present Ever
It was Christmas morning at six o’clock. My heart was pounding in excitement as I wandered into my parent s room. Our dog Baby greeted me at the doorway. Their room was nice and cozy. Climbing onto my parent’s bed, I woke my dad up.
“Mommy, mommy wake up!” I practically shouted with excitement. Mom looked up at me like I was crazy.

Grammy and Uncle Adam came walking through the doorway to the living room. Uncle Adam sat down on the couch taking up a good chunk of the seat. Grammy sat at the other end of the couch. Mom sat on the floor taking pictures of us, and dad sat in the “Chair.” I started to dig into my presents. My breath stopped short and my heart started to beat on triple time. I saw the one present I was looking for. “There it was! The Queen of all presents! The one I’ve been dreaming of cense Easter!” I thought as I stared at the American Girl box. I started to get red faced from holding my breath so long. I started to grab the box when my mom said, “wait to open that box last.” Instead she handed me the same shaped box, but with different wrapping paper. Shredding open the wrapping paper and ripping open the lid of the box I saw to my disappointment, underwear. Pink, flowered, underwear. My face crumbled. I caught my crumbling face just in time before anyone saw it. Or so I thought I did. Mom, dad, grammy, and uncle Adam started laughing like they knew a joke and didn’t include me in on.

I was on the last of my gifts from everyone. This was the one mom had told me to leave for last. “Is this an American Girl doll? It’s the same shape of box as both the underwear had come in and the American Girl Dolls come in. Or it could just be more underwear.” I though as I peeled the wrapping paper off of the box. Taking the lid off I saw Elizabeth. “Oh My Gosh!!!!! It’s ELIZABETH!” I thought. I started to take Elizabeth out of the box. Jumping up and down I thanked everyone. My squeals filled the air making my mom clench her jaw.

Book Blog
Heavenly is a book by Jennifer Laurens. The book is about the life of a girl named Zoe.
The book is about how Zoe's sister is autistic and how she has an angel watching over her. Her brother is a drug user and her parents don't know. Zoe is stuck carrying the weight of that and tacking care of her sister sitting on her shoulders.
In the book I think the author should have had a better friend for Zoe. The friend is not very friendly and in sum parts the friend is friendly and sum times she is not. I also think the author could have made the parents notice more. The author could have made the parents pay more attention to Zoe and her brother not just to their sister.
I think that girls would be more inclined to read this book. The main character is a girl so the story is in more of a girls view. The book talks about everyday problem's that girls probaly face more than boys. Though boys seem to think that drugs surround them they also involve girls. This book is really good for anybody to read.

My fav place
In general I liked writing the paper but not making the video. I would prefer to write and show my creativity in writing that through video. In my opinon I think I work better when it's just writing and not video projects. I like writing a paper and then speaking about it more than writing a paper and presenting a video.

I also liked Cassie's video. I liked have how she included the tour behind where the bowling balls go after they hit the pins and when they resurface. I liked the music she played. The camera person was a little shaky.

I really liked Aubrey-Grace's video so far. She had good video footage in her video. Although the camera was shaky it was a good video.I liked how she edited hers.

My Favorite Place in Western PA
The western PA project was not a lot of fun. It was mainly research, and interviews. Although the paper was easy the video was challenging. If you don't know how you want your video to work or you just don't know how to work the imovie.
The best part of the project is that I got to interview this older lady who knew a lot about the place. I got to hear old storys about the place and where it's located. I also found out that she knew my grandfather who passed away when I was little and the same with my uncle. She also knew my aunts.

My top ten favorite places in Pittsburgh
- Robinson Mall; there are so many shops there.
- Dairy Queen; I love ice cream and can't live with out it!
- Barnes and Noble in Robinson; it's huge and I'm a total book lover.
- Joseph Beth's book store; best place on earth!
- Library: I can get books for free.
- Ligonier Fort days; I get to shop and see part of my family.
- Movie Theaters; I get to relax and enjoy a movie. Who wouldn't?
- X-cell; I get to exercise in a way that I enjoy.
- Henle Park; fun to go to with friends.
- Cheeburger Cheeburger; best hamburger ever!

Is Sucker "Damaged Goods"
Sucker is damaged goods because Pete treated sucker bad all his life. When Pete told Sucker calmly that he hated him; it hit a spot in Sucker that made Sucker transform into a "bad boy". It will take some major therapy to fix Sucker

My review of Sucker
Sucker is about a kid who's name is Pete ; his cousin Richard a.k.a. Sucker comes to live with Pete's family. As Pete gets older he treats Sucker horrible till one day when things change does Pete realize he made a big mistake.
